Author Biography
Stella Blackstone has written many bestselling titles for Barefoot Books, including the popular Bear and Cleo series, An Island in the Sun (PB: 9781841481944), Secret Seahorse (PB: 9781841488769; BB: 9781905236145) and Who Are You, Baby Kangaroo? (BB: 9781905236145). Stella lives with her family in Somerset. Caroline Mockford worked as a nursery school teacher, an experience which gave her an invaluable insight into how children explore and learn through books. Caroline works mainly in acrylics to achieve the strong and bold colors that are fast becoming her trademark. In addition to the Cleo series, Caroline has worked on What's This? (PB: 9781846860706).
