Description

"CIA Boy, ISS Girl" is a new non-fiction love story by Vahid Asghari, an Iranian journalist, based on the true story of his arrest in 2008 by the Iranian Secret Service (ISS) for his human rights activism. The novel reveals how the Islamic government uses teenage girls as spies to enter opposition groups to prevent the fall of the Islamic regime in Iran. One such girl is Helen, an 18 year old spy for the ISS, sent to extract information from Vahid. His communication with the FBI and Interpol made him a potential CIA spy in the eyes of the ISS. Spy stories are normally seen as fiction but "CIA boy, ISS Girl" is the true story of Iranian political prisoner, human rights activist and journalist Vahid Asghari, and his relationship with an agent for the very organization that imprisoned him. You will find out if CIA Boy, ISS Girl (Helen and Vahid) can make it!
