Theresa M. Odom-Surgick is an author who is also a singer, songwriter and inspirational speaker. She is an accomplished writer and has written and presented several plays and skits that minister to the heart of people. Her first published book was, My Life Tested: Earthly vs. Spiritual Things. It is her personal memoir. In this writing, she is upfront and transparent about life issues. She is also the author of two fictional writings, Jalena Dances with God and a drama filled fiction novel titled, INTRUSION. Another book by this author is titled, CHRONICLES TO PURE PRAISE & WORSHIP IN THE ARTS (A Creative Arts Handbook). It is used as an aid for persons who perform creative arts such as: mime, liturgical dance, drama and more. Theresa is the Senior Pastor of the Star of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, located in Albany, New York. She is the loving wife of Arnold Surgick and proud mother of Krystal-Rose, Antoine, Andrae and DeShawne Surgick and the adopted mom of Christopher and Shayla Armand. She is the grandmother of seven.
