Tim Murphy is a journalist who has written for, amongst others, the New York Times, New York Magazine, Details, Conde Nast Traveler, WSJ Magazine, Out, and The Advocate. His July 2014 New York Magazine cover story on the new HIV prevention pill and its impact on New York City gay men was nominated for a GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Magazine Journalism. He writes about everything from arts, fashion, culture and travel to LGBT and social-justice issues. He lives in Brooklyn and in the Hudson Valley.
