Author Biography:

Stanley Hauerwas is Gilbert T. Rowe Professor of Theological Ethics at Duke University. He is the author of In Good Company, Vision and Virtue, A Community of Character, and Character and the Christian Life, all published by the University of Notre Dame Press. Charles Pinches is professor of theology and religious studies at the University of Scranton in Scranton, PA. He has published numerous articles in scholarly journals and is the author of several books, including A Gathering of Memories.
