Child of Storm is the second part of a three-book sequence in the Allan Quatermain series (Marie was the first, and Finished is the third--yes, there's a book between Child of Storm and Finished, but that's because, as in real life, we often have adventures between significant parts of our lives that are connected anyway). In any case, this adventure finds Quatermain attracted to Mameema, a gorgeous African woman in the Zulu kingdom. Real people from history mingle with the fictional characters Haggard created, and the ride is filled with action, so strap yourself in.
