The seventh record in our Brazil 45s series.
Side A is a psychedelic cover of Jorge Ben's all time classic ‘Carolina Carol Bela’. Very little is known about Os Brazoes except that they formed in Rio De Janeiro in 1969 backed Gal Costa during her early ‘Tropicalia’ years. The front man of the band is Miguel de Deus. This track appears on their self titled LP on RGE in 1969. This track has never been released on 7".
Side B features one of the unique, greats of Brazilian music Tim Maia. Maia was renowned for his iconoclastic, ironic, outspoken, and humorous musical style. E Necessario is taken from his self titled 1977 LP on Som Livre, previously unreleased on 7".
Mr Bongo proudly presents ‘Brazil 45s’: a series of sought after golden era ‘60s and ‘70s Brazilian music pressed on 7" vinyl.
Brazil 45s feature rare and sought after tracks previously unreleased as singles or only available on quieter LP pressings.
Mastered and cut at 45rpm for high quality and loud sound, these 7"s are packaged in lovingly produced Brazil45 sleeves.
