Canon: EF 300mm F/4L IS USM
Bring the world in close with a super telephoto lens.
Superbly built, the EF 300mm f/4L IS USM is a super telephoto lens that delivers outstanding image quality in a wide range of photographic fields. While it truly excels as a sports photography lens, it’s also equally suited to nature, wildlife, portrait and landscape photography. And while it may not be a 1:1 macro lens, its .24× maximum magnification allows you to capture some pretty impressive plant and flower close-ups. Featuring L-series quality, the EF 300mm f/4L IS USM is relatively small and light within its class, making it comfortable to carry and handle. Its optical performance is just as impressive as its build quality, delivering incredibly sharp images corner-to-corner even when used on a full frame body. This sharpness is assisted by its ring-type USM – which provides an autofocus that is very fast and exceptionally accurate – as well as Canon’s excellent Image Stabilisation, which allows the lens to be handheld at much lower than normal shutter speeds.
