The focus of this new title, which builds on the first volume released in 2001, is people. It tells the stories of 50 new Canadians across Canada who have, as first generation immigrants, achieved great success, demonstrated heroic courage in the transition process and who continue to give Canada their heart and soul. The people profiled include politicians, musicians, novelists, doctors, activists, astronauts, broadcasters, lawyers, businessmen, academics and many more. This book is virtually about dreams and how to realize them.
