Camille Claudel 1915 Movie Reviews

“In a incredibly contained performance that ranks among the best of her career, Juliette Binoche portrays a woman trapped by mental and physical constraints alike.” IndieWIRE

“Exploitative as this may seem in theory, it works beautifully onscreen, mostly because of Binoche’s radiantly complicated humanity.” Timeout

“In Binoche's masterfully contained performance, Camille's clouded eyes sometimes brighten. If we didn't know how her story will unfold, that spark might have been comforting.” Los Angeles Times

*“Juliette Binoche’s portrayal of the ill-fated artist is a study of restraint peppered with brief outbursts of emotion – a riveting performance in an imposing, at times off-putting micro-biopic.” The Hollywood Reporter
