Author Biography:

Ana Carolina González is a former English teacher and current Global Perspectives teacher and Head of Department at a private school in Bogotá, Colombia. She is the co-author of Puppets 1, 2 and 3, a series of three language teaching books for primary school students in her hometown. She is a passionate educator who is willing to make a positive difference in the world which is reflected in her interest in building global connections and understanding through education. Mike Gould is a former Head of English and an experienced author who has written over 150 books and other resources for teachers and students, including GCSE and IGCSE textbooks and digital support material. He has also been a Senior Lecturer in English and Education, teaching the history of the English language, creative writing and how to apply new technologies to the English classroom. Barbara Miller began her teaching career in an inner-city Midlands high school in the UK in 1973, and there followed a teaching and leadership career lasting 32 years in which she taught History and Social Science courses. She then worked supporting schools and businesses in their drive to improve outcomes for young people. Barbara has trained and mentored teachers in the UK and internationally, tutoring postgraduate students and teachers. Adrian Ravenscroft is a former teacher, teacher trainer and educational consultant. He began his teaching career in Bradford before returning to work in his native Birmingham (UK). His research has focused on the comparative study of approaches to citizenship education. He has provided professional development for teachers in 15 countries.
