SANDRA M. REED was born in New Roads, Louisiana. She received her B.A. in English and Drama Education from Dillard University. Sandra is a veteran teacher of the Chicago Public Schools. She also served as an elected official and established the Myria Reed Foundation for Children with Special Needs. As a member of Actors' Equity, she has performed throughout Chicago and Wisconsin. Her life journey and travels shaped and influenced her writings. Sandra loves writing, particularly to transform and motivate readers. Sandra Reed's objective is to identify problems yet encourage solutions. Three words describe her writings: Live, Laugh and Love.
