Author Biography:

Richard Hayman is a medieval, industrial and architectural historian who writes on the history of the British landscape and has for many years been involved in the listing of historic buildings in Wales and England. He is the author of the Shire Books Coal Mining in Britain and The Iron Industry, among others.
