Description

Ellie Myers was just your average citizen living in Section 36. She went to school, did her homework, spent time with her friends, and of course, she followed the strict laws of the Mandatory Medical Procedure. Ever since the Scroungers invaded the planet over 200 years ago, life on Earth has never been the same. Sure, humans eventually won back the planet; but the damage was already done. Now everyone is infected with the Trojan Virus. A deadly virus that gets passed on to every child, and the only way to keep it in remission is by taking your prescribed amount of Xylon pills provided by the government daily. At least, that's what you're taught in school. And if you refuse, then your life is swiftly ended in the form of a public execution. Hence the word "Mandatory". When Ellie finds out there might be more to the story than the government is letting on though, she's tempted to see what the "Trojan Virus" really is. And this temptation, mixed with her naturally curious tendencies, leads her to discover things she would have never thought were possible. Things that powerful people have worked very hard to keep quiet, and will do anything to make sure it stays that way. But I mean, if breaking the law means having superpowers...how can someone pass that up?
