Description

Rome AD 36. The mighty Feline Empire rules the world. Queen Boudicat has declared war on Rome and wants Spartapuss to join her rebel army. Our ginger hero can't see how a tiny tribe of Kitons can take on the mighty Feline Empire. But warrior queens don't take 'No' for an answer. Boudicat is not for turning, she's for burning! Action-packed and full of historical details, the Spartapuss series follows the diary of a gladiator cat from Rome to the Land of the Kitons (A.K.A. Britain). Boudicat, the fourth book in the Spartapuss series, was awarded an 'Exclusively Independent' pick of the month for July 2009.

Author Biography:

Robin is the creator of the Spartapuss series. He's also scripted a comic-based adventure game illustrated by Craig Conlan. Robin has always been massively into music. He co-wrote songs for Tall Stories in their brilliant musical adaptations of Julia Donaldson's classic The Gruffalo, Something Else and Room on the Broom. He is currently busy editing a brand new series of Roobarb and Custard books for Mogzilla, and touring the UK giving children's creative writing workshops based on Roman history.
