Author Biography:

Miles G. Berry is a multiple award winner in both clinical and academic fields. With over a decade of pure aesthetic surgery atop 20 years of wide-ranging surgical experience since qualifying from University College London in 1991, he has established himself as one of the field leaders in a broad remit of aesthetic surgery. His practice, Cosmetic Surgery Partners, has won a number of awards for clinical excellence based on patient feedback and independent evaluation.    Miles’ academic expertise has twice been recognised with JPRAS’ annual Best Paper award. He gained a Master of Surgery, and a patent, for original research into breast cancer at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London and has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. He has travelled widely to learn and perfect cutting-edge techniques in both Sydney, Australia and Paris. The latter saw him invited to extend his stay to almost two years at the world-famousInstitut Curie, where he co-authored the textbook Oncoplastic and Reconstructive Surgery for Breast Cancer.  His formal teaching experience includes an Anatomy Demonstratorship, a Lecturership in Surgery at St Bartholomew's and for the past 5 years a trainer for the UK’s longest-established non-surgical training provider.
