Cath's whole life has been about books. As a librarian, teacher, editor, community gardener (vegetable story-time anyone?) and now a literacy tutor, she aims to inspire a love of books in everyone. As a child, her fascination with stories was encouraged by a wonderful English teacher (Miss Storey!) local librarians and an amazing children's bookshop (The Lion and the Unicorn) where authors met their fans. Cath now loves sharing her own stories with children of all ages. She lives in Kent with her partner and a high maintenance cat. Puff! and The Smart Hat Chris Jevons is a children's book illustrator represented internationally by The Bright Agency. He lives and works in the lovely Spa town of Harrogate North Yorkshire, UK. With a background in design and animation, he pursued his passion for children's books and joined Bright in 2011. Chris has illustrated picture books, board books and fiction series. He illustrates digitally using a Cintiq drawing tablet and Apple iMac. He is inspired by picture books, films, tv and nature. Chris has recently started growing vegetables on his new allotment.
