Description

In the village of Tigra, the shadow of the Forest is dark and deep. Not because of the trees...but because of the dragon that stories say lives somewhere in the Forest. Blossom doesn't worry much about dragons. No one has seen it for years and years. Besides, she has enough on her hands picking buzzleberries with her mother and her sister. But when she goes in search of the juiciest buzzleberries, she accidentally goes further into the Forest than ever before. She gets lost, and instead of finding the way home...she finds the dragon. A delightful and imaginative story about friendship, legends, and the power of giving people a chance, Blossom and the Dragon will take readers on a wild adventure into a strange land.

Author Biography:

A. G. Sinko has worked as both a teacher and a library worker. Over the course of her career she has worked with youth of all ages, discussing books and other topics close to the young people's hearts. She has paid special attention to reading levels and how to craft a book for a specific audience. Ms. Sinko was inspired to write Blossom and the Dragon by the Gloria Steinem quote, "The hardest thing for a person is not to learn but to unlearn." Blossom and the Dragon is the first in a series of books featuring Blossom. Ms. Sinko lives with her family in suburban New York.
