The author has been wargaming for 40 years and enjoys design games as well as the participation and painting aspects of the hobby. The author has previously published through The Helion Company, "Muskets and Springfields", which covers The American Civil War. The author enjoys a wide range of historical periods in several scales. The author plays both casual games and match play. The author lives and works as a software developer, in the United Kingdom with his wife, teenage son and a pet cat.
