Big World is the 3rd album from vastly under-exposed singer-songwriter Tim Guy, released on Monkey Records.Drums & bass glow in the dusk with a countrified-R&B feel like Rumours-era Fleetwood Mac or Big Pink-era Band,a bliss-bath of woozy Wurlitzers & Rhodes, with guitars like satellites darting across darkling skies. Tim Guy is backed on the Big World album by a band including Jeremy Toy & Julien Dyne (from Opensouls).

Mixed by Jol Mulholland (The Checks) & mastered by Dave Cooley (Polyphonic Spree, Serge Gainsbourg) in L.A., Big World was co-produced by Guy with Toy, & recorded at their then-shared flat through 2009.

A true drifter, Guy’s previous 2 albums were written during moves to Melbourne (2004’s Blazey) & then Auckland (2007’s Hummabyes), & established him as a talented songwriter with a slanted & romantic perspective. A shift to Barcelona for 5 months inspired a further improvement in his songwriting. Deep & dreamy, the songs from this period make up the bulk of Big World - an exquisitely tuneful pop album from a rare talent.
