Description

A tour through Joesph Biden's horrendous first two years in office. This sequel continues on where Seymore's "The Takedown of President Trump" left off. Biden took an America that was coming out of a pandemic, relatively unscathed, and put us on a path to disaster. When Biden became president, he inherited a 1.6% inflation rate, a gasoline price of less than $2.00, a relatively stable southern border and a country that recognized two genders - male and female. In two short years, he has created chaos unlike anything America has ever seen before - inflation has increased about 15%; gasoline prices in excess of $5.00, almost three million illegals a year crossing the border and a redefinition of gender identity that now includes as many as 72 genders. It is hard to appreciate the damage that Biden has been able to accomplish during only two years. The Covid nightmare was somewhat under control - Trump had created a "warp speed" vaccination program in less than a year that in past years would have taken three - five years. Trump's economy was booming before the pandemic . . . inflation was close to historic lows . . . gasoline prices of less than two dollars a gallon . . . grocery shelves were full . . . in effect, Americans were angry about China's pandemic, but were confident about the future. Then a number of Democratic politicians rose out of the brackish waters of the Washington Swamp and pushed Biden into making disastrous decisions - most significantly, the impossible dream of the will-o'-the wisp of green energy. With a stroke of the pen, on his first day in office, he turned America into, once again, an energy-dependent nation. It is unclear whether he even realizes what he has done - his cognitive abilities have deteriorated, and they were not very robust in the first place. A gaggle of first-time congresswomen have assumed the role of policymakers, supported by a Cabinet that was chosen by diversity rather than ability. If these were the tranquil times of the 1950s, America could probably deal with Biden's foibles. For God's sake, we had survived the Carter years! But these are not the 1950s - America's future is clouded, very clouded, indeed. Technology has grabbed America by the throat and is squeezing the life out of it. Artificial intelligence is no longer right around the corner - it is right in our pocket . . . you can't name anyone who doesn't have a smartphone to plan their every move. America needs intelligent and dedicated leadership if it is to thrive in the future. The clowns now running the government will never get us there.
