Description

"Looking for exhilarating action and unbelievable adventure? You've just found it! Action-packed, comic book appeal is what boys will experience when they read Bible Heroes and Bad Guys. It's designed specifically for boys ages 8-12 with a thrill for adventure and excitement. Lots of muscles and courage--that's what every comic book hero's got. But, now boys can learn about true heroes--and bad guys-- in action, pulled straight from the pages of the Bible. As part of the 2:52 Soul Gear(tm) collection, these high-energy, fast-moving stories will encourage boys in their quest to be smarter, stronger, deeper, and cooler as they develop into young men of God. "

Author Biography:

Rick Osborne is a bestselling author and speaker committed to equipping parents, churches, and para-church organizations to reach and teach children. He has been a key contributor in the development of Zonderkidz's Luke 2:52 series, including The Boys' Bible, Bible Heroes & Bad Guys, and Bible Soldiers & Battles, among others. Other books Rick has done with Zonderkidz include The Legend of the Christmas Tree, the Kids' Quest Study Bible, the NIrV Kidreference Library, and the I Want to Know About... series. He has written and co-written over 46 books and been part of the development of over 100 other ministry tools, books and programs, all dedicated to the spiritual development of children. By his early teen years, Ed Strauss was writing several novels at once. He had a dresser for his clothing, but Ed had different priorities. The bottom drawer held his comic books--mostly Spiderman, Tarzan, and Turok. The middle drawer overflowed with his story notes, research, and maps. The top drawer was stuffed with clothing. On a nearby shelf was Ed's favorite reading material, an encyclopedia set he had won on a nationwide kiddie show. Marnie Wooding is an author, screenwriter and story editor. She is the author of over a dozen books and is pleased to be part of the Zondervan family of authors. Currently she is a screenwriter and co-producer with White Winds Film Group. Marnie lives with her husband and two children in Vancouver, Canada.
