Author Biography:

Brent Patmos has found that the majority of leaders and organizations are not yet actualizing their potential. His work changes that. As a business advisor, Brent helps the leaders of privately held and family owned businesses move from a mindset of surviving to one of thriving. He works with leaders to create sustainable business growth and cultural continuity by providing transition clarity, developing leadership competencies and advancing strategic thinking. Brent has spent nearly 30 years forming the methodologies he uses every day in his work with leaders and their teams. Central to his approach is a concept that is simple in theory yet complex in application: Leaders need to think more. The ability to think beyond what they know-to be open to doing things differently from the past-sets leaders on a path toward radical change that propels company sustainability beyond the leader's watch. As principal and CEO of Perpetual Development, Inc., Brent guides privately held and family owned businesses through transformation and transition. Over the years, he has worked with more than 125 privately held companies and their senior executives, having trained and assessed more than 3,000 sales and business professionals. While those figures may seem large, he sees the individuals he works with as more than just numbers-they become part of his professional family. Brent is also an internationally recognized speaker who focuses his keynotes and forums on connecting with people. He has been described as a "gifted and inspiring communicator who speaks with such clarity and purpose that it impacts you at the core of who you are as a person and at the core of the company's culture and values." Stacy Ennis is an award-winning writer, editor, creative consultant, and speaker. Her greatest joy is helping people achieve their book-writing dreams, and she has had the opportunity to work with a diverse group of authors in varied genres, editing several chart-toppers. Stacy spent two years abroad in the Dominican Republic and Vietnam, where she developed a unique perspective and approach to her work. Experiences like hiking Ta Kou Mountain to see the reclining Buddha in Mui Ne, Vietnam, being robbed at gunpoint in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and exploring the island of Ko Chang, Thailand, helped Stacy establish a foundation for understanding the varied viewpoints and approaches of writers and readers. She has friends and colleagues around the world and sees the connections she forms with people as the most important aspect of her career. After returning to the U.S., Stacy was the founding managing editor of a lifestyle magazine. Later, she became the executive editor of Healthy Living Made Simple, a Sam's Club magazine that reaches over 8 million readers. Her role at the publication involved writing around 50 percent of the magazine's content, including a cover feature on Oprah Winfrey and Deepak Chopra. She now works with a wide range of clients, from celebrities and corporate clients to independent authors and small book presses and also ghostwrites magazine articles, web content, and books, often reaching national and international audiences.
