Because of a lack of preparation, overestimation of synergies, and poorly thought-out approaches to combining entities. Now, two top M&A practitioners have developed an alternative approach to acquisitions that assures extraordinary increases in performance and value. Beyond the Deal outlines a four-level strategy framework-business, customer, organization, and knowledge-for building value and competitive advantage, using global case studies from Europe and Asia to illustrate successful working models.
