Author Biography:

LYNNE TAYLOR is Associate Professor of History at the University of Waterloo, Canada. She teaches Modern European History. She is currently engaged in two research projects - an oral history of the occupation experience and an examination of the refugee crisis in Germany immediately after World War II.
