Description

A touching celebration of nature by debut author Anne Twist, illustrated by world-renowned children's book artist Emily Sutton. Betty loves visiting Grandma and playing in her beautiful garden, Acorn Hollows. But when a mysterious creature starts destroying the Hollows, Betty must come up with a plan to save it. Whatever will she do? Anne Twist's joyous story is brought to life by Emily Sutton's stunning illustrations.

Author Biography:

Anne Twist began writing poems in 2017 after suffering the loss of her beloved husband. Writing helped her navigate through grief. Her garden in the countryside of Cheshire became her inspiration and brought her peace as her craft grew. Born in the south of England, Anne is mother to Gemma and Harry. Reading to them constantly, especially at bedtime when they were little, was a huge part of raising her children. She hopes her debut book becomes part of your bedtime routine. Emily Sutton is an artist and illustrator based in York, England. She has worked on numerous picture books, including The Christmas Eve Tree by Delia Huddy, as well as Tiny, Lots, Many and Grow by author Nicola Davies, and The Tale of the Castle Mice by Michael Bond. Emily finds endless inspiration for her paintings from spending time in nature accompanied by her dog muse Mouse and her nieces Penny and Sadie. Visit her website www.emilysutton.co
