Description

Beecasso and his Magical Brush is an incredible journey, both children and adults around the world can be a part of. Through adventure, wonder and imagination they will learn more about bees, creativity, and how to be kind to the planet.

Author Biography:

Steve Downs, the creator of 'Beecasso' is an artist and honeybee preservationist. He is a self-taught artist, carrying within him passion and vision since childhood. Steve has also developed Los Angeles' top live humane bee removal service -Beecasso Live Bee Removal Inc, with an amazing 'Beecasso Sanctuary' in Southern California, where the rescued hives are relocated and preserved. His deep connection with bees combined with his love for the arts inspired Steve to create a powerful mascot to stand up and speak out for the bee population, and so 'Beecasso' was born. This character is a symbol of hope that connects nature to the arts. Steve is known for his live art performances, and painting with the bees! He believes they resonate with music and color. Through his extensive knowledge and work with these amazing creatures he has discovered that bees create. "I realize we have this in common, "They Create, We Create." He has a life dream and a vision of taking his art to the extreme with his unique approaches, to connect with millions through art and preservation. He believes that education is the primary tool for a healthy future and sustainable environment, awakening a passion for our natural surroundings in people today to be passed on for generations to come.
