This is the 2nd Bebird ear cleaner I have bought, the first was the white one. I'm not sure why but they were totally different despite the listing being the same. The black one's spoon is smaller/easier to navigate and more solid, the camera is clearer and the battery lasts longer. The white one did the job alright but the spoons always fell off (often in your ear) and it only lasted a couple of months before the light malfunctioned and it stopped connecting to the app. The black one has been superior in all ways so far. Perhaps I just got an older version the first time, if that's the case I hope all going forward are the newer ones.

Works as advertised though a bit tricky to use at first but be aware that using it requires you to download an app which asks for permission to access your files as well as to record you. Make sure to deny it any access and to not update it since the update leads to a pretty shifty third party site. If you can, do what I did and use a burner phone (any cheap or second hand phone with decent enough resolution) that you don't use and is clear of any of your important info, accounts etc. To download the app and use as the screen.

Bought on sale out of curiosity after binge watching earwax cleaning videos. It works as it says, you download the app and deny the requests to access anything unnecessary for it to work. Image is clear, can see well and we also occasionally use it for close up pimple popping. Small learning curve to work out how to direct it in sync with the camera, the stick and your brain as left and right temporarily makes no sense, but it's easy to figure out. I haven't tried the online feature of sharing images of the ear with the “remote doctors” doubt I ever will. One downside it the metal shaft gets hot after a few minutes of use, which is not ideal considering you are sticking inside your ear. Needs cool down between ears if you are taking your time to explore and clean. Battery life is good, seems to go the distance. Feels like I'm scratching an itch on my brain and I'll never be able to give it up now.
