Description

Ballads of Johnny Toxic is a poetry chapbook. Traditionally, chapbooks are defined as a small pamphlet of poems by an author, illustrated by (sometimes unrelated) woodcuts. This little volume contains poems, haiku, blank verse and ramblings in the author's unique style, and is illustrated by the masterful photographs of 3D rendered models by Karma Weymann. Johnny himself is a character from another story who possesses the unique ability to poison everything he touches. This leaves in in a state of whimsical loneliness with a vague suspicion that something is wrong with him. It's much the same effect as love gone wrong. Therefore, these pages reflect a bittersweet (definitely more bitter) depiction of love and relationships. You'll likely find yourself nodding to the spirit, if not always the words, herein if you've ever loved and lost and cried out in the night "why?" Adult content and art.
