Robert Hastings is now 58 years old, and has been living and working in Thailand for six years. He started as an English teacher in Rayong, and now lives and works in Udon Thani. He is married to a Thai lady who has two children. He spends most of his time working as a teacher, but when he has some spare time he has taken to writing. He originally came from England where he was a catering manager, but has now settled in Thailand. His first fiction book 'Arthur and the 3462006AdA' originated from a simple dream one night, and he is now well into his second book 'Arthur and the Golden Elephant'.
