"Great Cutters!"

These are awesome, a lot nicer than using a thin knife blade to get parts off sprues. Really nice build quality.

Only one issue: The product description on the back of the cutter's box says they are Army Painter Metal Cutters and not to use with plastic, only white metal. But they work fine for plastic anyway, so… yea.

"Item is named incorrectly."

There are two types of cutters Army Painter sells, one for plastic and one for metal. This one is for metal and the packaging recommends not using it on plastic. I went against its advice and tried it on plastic, only to discover that the advice on the package is correct. They do not cut plastic very well. My old wire cutters from my art school days are better for the job and aren't even designed with miniatures in mind. Mighty Ape please do your product research and name this product appropriately.

Description

The Metal Precision Side Cutters is for wargaming metal miniatures and larger bits of resin. Made from stainless steel and with safety grip handle, it is a lot more durable than the Plastic Side Cutter although less precise.
