Description

Whether going to college, getting married, or buying a house, there are many money traps that are virtually guaranteed to keep people poor. What if these common beliefs about what's required to be financially successful turned out to be wrong? What's more, what if everything that has been taught about money was a scam designed to keep people chained to their jobs? It turns out that's exactly what's happening to just about every middle-class family in America. This book will reveal seven cultural myths that people are bred to believe that virtually eliminate any chance they have to get rich. Readers will be challenged to totally rethink the way they view money, wealth, and financial success as this book exposes the lies we all believe that keep 90 percent of Americans poor.

Author Biography:

Tom Graneau emigrated with his family from the Caribbean at the age of 17. Unable to read or write when he arrived, he ended up with a bachelor's and master's degrees and a huge college loan debt. After losing his house and declaring bankruptcy, Graneau was inspired to find and solve the root problem of financial bondage. He is an in-demand speaker on financial independence. He provides financial education through counseling, workshops, and presentations to people in the civilian community, government agencies, and the military. He recently volunteered time to promote a grassroots campaign called America Saves Campaign in the San Diego area. He lives with his wife in Southern California.
