Definitely effective, but a bit too so. It's powerful and the power button is in a terrible place, I made quite a mess using this.
Worked great for a little bit. After a few weeks I had the feeling the power was less intense but I thought I maybe started to get use to it. After a few months the battery worked less and less good. Now I can barely do 1 cleaning that the battery is already flat. Unfortunately it's been more than a year so I can't really do much about it. If you have the place I would probably go for unit that you can connect to the wall plug (not battery).
