The true story of a group of Jersey islanders, caught up in events when the Germans occupy the Channel Isles in World War 2. Louisa Gould shelters an escaped Russian prisoner of war, and rallies family members and neighbours to keep the young man hidden from the Nazis. In the meantime she loses her own sons who have gone away to fight the Germans. Louisa shows that courage and compassion cannot be crushed by fear, or the risk of betrayal.
Another Mother's Son is the extraordinary true story of defiance, bravery and betrayal during the Nazi occupation on the Channel Islands during the Second World War. When a Russian soldier escapes the labour camps, Louisa decides to offer shelter, and by doing so risks the lives of friends and family who face the prospect of capture and deportation to Germany.
