Description

Anagaion is a 30-lesson, three-part study course about Church history, heritage, basic Bible beliefs, and how all this applies to daily living. Participants will gain a better understanding of what it means to be a part of society as a Christian in today's world. The companion text for Part Three, The Road Rising (also by Tony Woods), offers a personal look at a man on a backpack trip. Through his experiences, recorded in a daily journal designed as a one-year devotional book, the journey serves as an analogy of every believer's search for meaning and significance in the eyes of both men and God.

Author Biography:

Tony Woods has served with his wife, Marsha on missionary assignments around the world, from the African countries of Zambia, Liberia and Ethiopia to Hong Kong, Bangkok and Australia. But for more then twenty five years they lived and served in the northern town of Sendai, Japan, where they raised three children and buried one. Anagaion was written primarily as a doctorial project from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, but following his dissertation was adapted into English. Tony and Marsha now live in Australia, near son Nathan, daughter Nicki, their spouses and three grandchildren.
