Her non-fiction picture bookThe Street Beneath My Feet was shortlisted for the UKLA Book Awards and selected by theGuardian as one of 15 'modern classics'. Charlotte lives in Oxfordshire.Helen Shoesmith is based in Lancashire and has a Masters in Illustration for Children. She always starts with a sketchbook before colouring her images digitally, and her favourite part of the process is adding in the detail. She loves adding in hidden extras to every scene for readers to discover.
