I'm a big fan of Alumilite's other products, such as Sculpey, so I expected a great plasticine product from them, and, I didn't get a great product, I got an alright-ish product. Main gripes are that it has too much pigment in it, so, when you work with the blue synthetic clay, you are going to have blue coated hands. Also, the consistency is dryer and more prone to splitting than a good artist's plasticine should be. Compare it to an air dry clay based on paper pulp and it is fine, but compare it to anything better than your most cheap, school play time plasticine and it is no great improvement.
