It's 2172. Comyt Savenhe, a rebellious, 18-year-old criminal with a five-foot ponytail and a hoard of mind-boggling gadgets, is running for her life . . . again. Upon her arrival on a new planet, she's almost beheaded by a princess with nothing to do. It turns out the princess, Luna Novastar, wants to go with Comyt to Venus, Comyt's destination. The two teenagers end up crashing on Earth, where they are saved by Isis Amun Chasset, an altruistic French-Egyptian healer with magical powers. The three girls embark on a perilous journey where they encounter elves, a pixie who is more than she seems, and a royal advisor trapped in a gem. They must unite to save the multiverse and defeat the aliens who are causing all the chaos among the stars.
Author Biography:
Maura Nafziger-White is the base personality for Comyt. Spunky, vivacious, dramatic, weird, and thankfully a little more clean-mouthed than her character, this is Maura's first book, and also her first series. She has appeared in multiple plays, including as Carlotta Guidicelli from the Phantom of the Opera, Shenzi from the Lion King, and Veruca Salt from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Maura loves speaking Japanese, anime, art, acting, talking with her friends, and writing. She lives in Minneapolis with her parents, little brother, Henry, and two dogs, Linus and Ginger. Maura is currently in eighth grade, at the magical age of 13. Cate Jensen is the base personality for Luna, which gives you a few ideas about her. Neat, aggressive, a person for perfection, loyal, and (according to Maura) almost sane. This is also Cate's first book and series. She loves to read, write, draw, watch Marvel, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Doctor Who, reading her favorite series, and hanging out with her friends.
