Description

With irresistible rhyming text by award-winning author Davina Bell and unforgettable illustrations by Jenny Løvlie, this new abridged board book edition of the beloved All of the Factors of Why I Love Tractors is sure to charm and amuse the whole family. When Frankie McGee insists on borrowing yet another book about tractors, his mum crumbles. She begs him to read a book about something else – cars, planes, cranes, trains – anything! Frankie launches into all of the various, glorious factors that make up the love that he has for all tractors – but will he be able to bring his mum around?   All of the Factors of Why I Love Tractors was first published as hardback picture book in 2019 and was shortlisted for Speech Pathology Australia Book of the Year and longlisted for ABIA Children's Picture Book of the Year in 2020. This hardy board book edition is perfect for readers aged one and up!

Author Biography:

Davina Bell is an award-winning writer for young readers of many ages. She writes picture books (including All the Ways to be Smart and Under the Love Umbrella), junior fiction (Lemonade Jones) and middle-grade fiction (the Corner Park Clubhouse series and the Alice books in the Our Australian Girl series). She lives in Melbourne, where she works as a children’s book editor. Jenny Løvlie is an illustrator and bird enthusiast from Ekkerøy in northern Norway. Being the first child born in her village after 12 years, she had a lot of time to develop her imagination and drawing skills. Her style is bright and colourful with lots of texture, plants and animals. She draws a lot of inspiration from the Arctic landscape, flora and fauna. Jenny has a BA in illustration from Kingston University and is now based in Cardiff.
