Purchased on Mighty Ape

The Agatha Christie Miss Marple disc1 with Joan Hickson was found to be very cheap. It was easily bought and arrived the next day. Amazing quality at such a low price and such great service.

Description

Joan Hickson is the perfect little old spinster lady whose meekness and fondness for knitting belie a needle-sharp brain and a genius for unravelling crime. The world of Miss Marple is a bygone rural England of vicars and retired colonels, live-in servants, close-knit village communities…and murder!

Oozing period atmosphere, star-studded casts and swimming with red herrings, the first 3 popular crime stores from the original BBC series, filmed entirely on location, are included in this 3 DVD collector’s set, presented in their original format.

Discover why Joan Hickson is considered the most popular Miss Marple of them all.

Episodes:
The Body In The Library (Parts 1, 2 and 3)
Who is the mystery blonde lying strangled in the library of Gossington Hall? Fortunately for the Bantrys, Miss Marple is their neighbour.

The Moving Finger (Parts 1 and 2)
A nasty case of poison-pen letters brings Miss Marple to the East Anglian village of Lymston.

A Murder Is Announced (Parts 1, 2 and 3)
The village of Chipping Cleghorn is intrigued by the local newspaper prediction of a murder at Little Paddocks. But when the lights go out at the appointed hour no-one thinks it’s a joke any more.
