Description

In the aftermath of Jesus's resurrection, Mary and Simon Peter set out on a mission to spread his message of love and forgiveness throughout ancient Israel. Their journey takes them from town to town, encountering both acceptance and resistance as they navigate cultural differences and conflicts around land ownership. As they travel, their experiences challenge their faith and deepen their understanding of the legacy left behind by Jesus. Meanwhile, a group of Pharisees led by a charismatic and influential leader seek to undermine Mary and Simon Peter's efforts. They view the growing influence of Jesus's teachings as a threat to their authority and traditional Jewish laws. The Pharisees plot to discredit Mary and Simon Peter, fueling further tension between them and the early followers of Jesus. In the midst of their journey, Mary and Simon Peter encounter a young woman named Deborah who has been ostracized from her community due to her mixed heritage. Through their compassion and guidance, they help Deborah discover her own spiritual connection and find a place within the growing movement inspired by Jesus's teachings. As Mary and Simon Peter continue their mission, their conflict with the Pharisees escalates, leading to higher stakes for themselves and their allies. Internal conflicts within their own group of followers also emerge, testing their leadership abilities and challenging their relationships with one another. Throughout it all, Mary and Simon Peter remain steadfast in their commitment to spreading Jesus's message, even in the face of persecution and danger. Their experiences ultimately lead them to a deeper understanding of faith, forgiveness, and the power of love.
