Navy and retired after 30 years of active duty. Upon retirement and entering college he earned a bachelor's degree with honors in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing. A life of writing has resulted in an accumulation of stories, poems, and opinion pieces based on his personal experiences. A lover of history, travel, and a good story he has brought together a collection of articles that encompass philosophy, humor, and personal insight. Much of what he has written comes from advice and opinions shared with his children and grandchildren. Many of the short stories were written for family and friends.
