Author Biography:

Katie Websdell's writing centers around self-help for parents, teenagers, and young adults, teaching life skills to those who often leave school without the confidence and knowledge to be independent adults or may have a gap in the critical skills needed to succeed in the workplace. Katie learned some life lessons when she joined the Royal Navy as a mechanic at 17. When she left at 22, she learned how to look after herself and navigate the requirements of adulthood. Entering higher education at age 29, Katie gained professional accountancy qualifications with the ACCA. This allowed her to work for fifteen years as a Commercial Manager for two high-profile telecom companies. She then became an Operational Excellence Leader, coaching managers in New Ways of Working.Today Katie lives in the North Highlands of Scotland with her three children, pursuing her joy for writing and passion for helping others - where she runs a retreat and an award-winning restaurant.
