Description

It just doesn't make sense, does it? The America of today shouldn't exist if what our teachers and overseers taught us about the country's history were true. The truth is that nearly all of it was untrue or, at the very best, wildly inaccurate. Your eyes are not fooling you. There's no better or more important time than now to smash the establishment's historical narrative on American History. A Twisted History of the United States, 1450-1945, is an innovative, rollicking, and eye-opening ride down America's memory lane that, like all good histories, explains why things really are the way they are today. Ditch the propaganda goggles and jump into a tempestuous sea of historical tweets and dangerous truths--eyes and minds wide open.

Author Biography:

Gary Richied is a former Adjunct Professor of History at Loyola University-Chicago and History Teacher at Fenwick High School in Oak Park, Illinois. He was fired from both institutions --simultaneously- for his professed and open libertarianism/anarcho-capitalism as well as his dogged criticism of Pope Francis and other bad actors within the Catholic Church. Gary Richied is a published author in the fields of history, economics, theology, philosophy and social science. His work has addressed subjects ranging from the economics of the Chicago Black Sox Scandal of 1919 to the patristic theology of the fourth century. He holds his B.A. in History and French from Loyola University-Chicago, an M.A. in Social Science from the University of Chicago, and an M.A. in Theology from the Aquinas Institute of Theology in Saint Louis. Brett Hoffstadt is the owner of Aero Maestro, an independent book publishing company that makes books that change the world by combining the powerful fuels of knowledge and ideas with the oxidizers of creativity and passion. His technical background is in aerospace engineering, where he has two degrees, four patents, and over twenty years of professional experience, most of which were on his nation's most advanced military aircraft programs. Through independent investigations into several historic large-scale and fatal aviation accidents, he digested the proverbial red pill.He can be found on LinkedIn and has a Twitter presence at BrettRocketSci. He currently lives in northern California with his family of several human and four-legged companions. Charlie Westerman is a former student of Gary Richied. He was writing on Medium, disgruntled by the lack of intellectual openness at his university, when the idea for this history book came to him. The vision was to create a book that would not only be innovative but also challenge the unchecked historical narratives passed down from generation to generation. Charlie proposed the book concept to Gary during the height of Covid lockdowns. You are reading the result of their collaborative effort. Charlie is currently a member of the business apprenticeship program Praxis and co-host of the Hot Water History Podcast with Gary Richied.
