Description

It's easy to see professional athletes as people who were simply born lucky and talented, but who were they before they hit the big time? Who are they, even now, when they're off the field and the cameras aren't running? Twenty-two-year-old pro soccer player James Weber once looked at sports stars as flawless other beings, too-and then he became one. In an effort to educate and encourage other dreamers, he offers an honest glimpse into the numerous victories and defeats that he had to navigate on his way to achieving his goals. From dealing with doubters as a high school athlete living in Wisconsin to later being blindsided with success only to lose everything when he tore his ACL, his candid tell-all tale reveals the truth that carries him to this day-with God anything is possible. While it's certainly an informative and motivational read for students pursuing a career in sports, Weber's story has the potential to impact anyone who wants to understand God's plan and live a rewarding life.
