George A. Eddy retired as Publisher of SAILING WORLD magazine for the NY Times. His wife Kay was the beautiful hostess who bumped him, a Naval Aviator, off an airliner in WWII. After a dramatic courtship, they have been married for 65 years and both lived exciting careers and adventures in NYC and abroad, now in San Francisco where sadly, her talents are subdued by Alzheimer's.
