I have called Nevada my home since 1961 when my parents moved us here from Southern California. My home is between Las Vegas and Death Valley and it gets plenty hot here, for sure. My job as a rural mail carrier for the US Postal Service keeps me healthy and writing soothes my soul. Having been a lifelong story teller and reader of stories this latest creation took me to an area I frequently visit to see my family. The rich western history of the Northern Nevada area is a huge draw for many looking to understand and experience "How the West was Won," if you will. I am fond of telling visitors that we have everything in Nevada except an ocean.
