Description

You know how business professionals are sometimes frustrated and struggle for ways to gain recognition, job security, better assignments and increased rewards? LEADERSHIP is the answer. Why Leadership? Because, job proficiency in not enough! In competitive situations, all things being equal, the one who has demonstrated the best Leadership Skills gets ahead faster. With this guide you'll never feel helpless because it shows you how to apply The Law of the Slight Edge to rapidly sharpen your Leadership Skills. Do you know what the 3 greatest myths of Leadership are that everyone seems to accept, but could actually be holding you back? Are you aware of the common responses to absolutely avoid which could make or break your Leadership image? Do you know what Pyrrhic Victories are and why good Leaders avoid them at all costs? If you need help answering those questions, you need this book. It's not an artifact nor is it long on theory. Each short chapter is a strategy that can be read individually rather than in sequence and applied immediately for positive results. You can review it again and again as a ready reference, especially to meet situations as they arise. The author distills, often through in-the-trenches personal stories, what works and what doesn't. By sharpening your Leadership Skills you will gain confidence, pride and satisfaction in your abilities. You need to know and apply the Leadership principles in this book to position yourself for job security, better assignments, increased recognition, greater rewards and advancement.
