Published in 1995, A Cruising Guide to Puget Sound has earned a reputation for the elegance and lucidity of its writing, the usefulness of its information, and the accuracy of its pilotage instructions. Now thoroughly updated, this guide to the waters, anchorages, sights, destinations, and shoreside facilities and attractions of Puget Sound is in a new, larger format with a spiral binding to lie flat for ease of use, a false spine for ease of shelving in the store, and a stiff, printed-board back cover for durability. The new guide also includes color photographs and nautical charts throughout. In conjunction with these changes the guide has been redesigned to make it easier to "navigate" and now features an innovative "Cruise Planner" section with prepackaged itineraries for cruises of various destinations. Author Biography

Migael Scherer has been cruising Pacific Northwest waters and living aboard in Seattle since 1974, when she and her husband launched the sailboat they had spent two years building. She is a technical writer by trade. Her first book, Still Loved by the Sun, won a Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association award and a PEN/Albrand citation for distinguished nonfiction.
