Author Biography:

Vera B. Williams is the creator of many award-winning and beloved picture books, including the Caldecott Honor book A Chair for My Mother. She was recently awarded the prestigious NSK Neustadt Prize for Children’s Literature. Vera B. Williams lives in New York City.
